The main climb starts around mile 7.3 and runs 0.31 miles, gaining 229 ft at an average 14%. The steepest sustained pitch averages 15% and begins just past mile 4.0. You finish 190 ft below the start, so an out-and-back saves the climbing for the return.

At 7.7 miles, it is the 3rd longest of 99 trails mapped in Nevada County.
