The climbing is front-loaded — most of the 777 ft of gain lands in the first half of the 4.7 miles. The main climb starts right off the line and runs 1.7 miles, gaining 453 ft at an average 5.0%. The steepest sustained pitch averages 10% and begins just past mile 2.3. You finish 112 ft above the start, so the return trip runs mostly downhill.
