Apple Capital Recreation Loop Trail

The climbing is back-loaded — the 13 miles stay comparatively easy before most of the 140 ft of gain arrives late. The main climb starts around mile 8.3 and runs 3.4 miles, gaining 110 ft at an average 0.6%. You finish 111 ft below the start, so an out-and-back saves the climbing for the return.

The Apple Capital Recreation Loop Trail is an urban bicycle and pedestrian trail in Wenatchee, Washington, United States. It follows the west and east shores of the Columbia River for 10 miles (16 km) and was completed in 1995.
